Urgent Need for
Five-Classroom Building
Trinity Lutheran College
To help the refugees find purpose, the LCSS has founded Trinity Lutheran College (TLC). Refugees are not allowed to live outside of refugee camps unless they can support themselves, and many refugees were once farmers and shepherds. These professions require land, a resource not available to most refugees.

TLC is a four-year college granting degrees in multiple disciplines. With a degree, a refugee can obtain a job, earn a living, leave the UN refugee camp and integrate into the surrounding area.

Building Needs

Great Need for New Classrooms
TLC now serves about 900 students—many more than can be accommodated by the current classroom on the campus in Gambella, Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Government has taken note and has threatened to shut down some of TLC’s programs unless more classrooms are built.

Your Contribution
How you can help
TLC will be building a five-classroom building to satisfy the government and provide space to teach more students. The classrooms, with furnishings, will cost $80,000 or $16,000 per classroom. Your money goes a long way in Ethiopia! Please prayerfully consider a gift of $100, $250, $500 or $1,000 or, if God has blessed with abundance, give more towards this important project. With the help of God, your gifts provide hope to people who have suffered from the atrocities of war.
